(moving) self-portrait

just testing out the video feature on my little point and shoot. might do more of these. short videos i mean... (not specifically cheesy self-portrait videos). the original source material looks ok, though they're suffering some quality loss and getting a little digitized/compressed here on the blog.

It's been such a long time since we first share pictures (i'm quite sure you dont even remember it :). I'm amazed by how beautiful your work is now. It was great, now it's art.

dear Lauren, if you preffer to keep testing this with cheesy self-portraits until you get the most incredible perfect quality... we'll not complain.

I could even invent some problems about it just to keep you trying.

hahah, but seriously. In motion it's a totally different experience. but your style remains intact. congratulations.

keep up the good work.

we love it.

Hi Lauren,
What is the music you used?
It has a great twin peaks feel to it.

Giving CCG "life" in movement is hardly "cheesy." Amazingly sensual in its simplicity.

what encoder do you use?

The moving selfie is a great idea. This one is not cheesy at all without the sound; every frame is one of those perfect shots I could never get even one of with a DSLR.

hmm, yeah, I like that. :P

I like it a lot, but I think I'd prefer it without the music though. It's a stunning video.

It's incredible how the film retains the same sense of atmosphere as your photographs. Your work is an inspiration.

killer! :)
video just seems to skip some frames or slow down on fps, but that might depend on my Mac (really?).
smooth soundtrack indeed - who's playing?
